Helping People Nationwide Find Meaning in the Everyday

Mundancing is the art of dancing through the mundane with presence, love, and joy.

CHANNELING WISDOM

Channeling Wisdom begins with a single daring question: What if the wisest voice you’ll ever hear is already within you?

We often look outside ourselves for answers—experts, books, courses, coaches, even AI. Each can offer guidance, but none can fully account for your unique history, circumstances, or soul’s knowing.

Deep inside, you already sense what holds you back and the first step toward change.

The real question is: Are you willing to ask, and then listen?

The question that changes everything

Author Daniel Pink and business leader Kat Cole ask themselves monthly:
If a top performer stepped into my role today, what’s the first thing they’d change?

Now, imagine modifying that question:
If Wisdom took over my life today, what’s the first thing it would change?

That single inquiry can be applied to any part of your life—your health, your relationships, your work, your spirit.

The balance of inside and out

Yes, external knowledge has value. Science, mentors, and success stories can illuminate the path. But no one else lives in your body, carries your history, or feels your heartbeat. Only you can know what will truly resonate.

I learned this when I became a vegetarian at 16. Without a roadmap, I studied countless diets and experts over decades. Some advice helped, much didn’t. Ultimately, it’s my body, my digestion, my willingness. I adapt what I learn, but the final compass is always internal.

No outside expert can understand your inner terrain better than you.

Channeling Wisdom daily

Here’s a simple practice:

Study the world. How have others solved this? What does science say? (Remember Jim Rohn’s words: “Success leaves clues.”)
Ask yourself. Each day, quietly inquire: How am I really feeling? What would light me up today? What’s the first thing Wisdom would have me change?
Write it down. Journaling—questions and answers—turns vague notions into clear direction.
Take the first step. You don’t need to know how the journey will unfold. You only need to know the first thing.

Wisdom rarely shouts. It whispers. But if you ask, it will always answer. And when it does, don’t wait for the perfect plan. Don’t stall for certainty. Trust the first thing.

Ask the question. Channel Wisdom. Then take the first step. Everything else will follow.

P.S. Wisdom grows when it’s shared. If you know someone who would love this reflection, please pass it along.
