There’s what we know.
There’s what we do.
When those two align, we live embodied wisdom.
Most of us already know what supports us—and what doesn’t.
The gap rarely lives in understanding.
It lives in application.
Kryptonite Isn’t a Mystery
In the Superman story, Kryptonite weakens his strength—not dramatically, but reliably.
We all have our version.
That thing we know diminishes us.
The habit, substance, or pattern that drains our energy and softens our resolve.
It’s rarely catastrophic.
Just enough to pull us off center.
Avoiding Kryptonite isn’t about discipline.
It’s about honoring what we already know.
Energy Is Everything
We are composed of over 99% energy.
How we use it matters.
Energy fuels creativity.
It regulates emotion.
It carries our capacity for kindness, clarity, and joy.
When we waste it, life feels heavier.
When we steward it well, life responds.
Energy doesn’t need to be chased.
It needs to be protected.
Clarity Simplifies Life
Clarity is knowing what to do—and when.
It’s prioritizing the priorities.
It’s recognizing that not everything deserves equal attention.
Clarity creates momentum.
Confusion creates friction.
Alignment Is Practiced
We know our aspirations.
We recognize the feeling of alignment.
Certainly, we know the actions that bring us there.
Alignment isn’t a concept.
It’s a practice.
Do What You Know
Our patterns shape us.
What we repeat becomes who we are.
I begin and end my days with Beloved Devotions—anchors and wings I rely on.
Not rules.
Reminders.
From there, life remains fluid.
Because growth evolves.
Practices adapt.
Wisdom deepens through use.
There’s a saying attributed to the Greek poet Archilochus:
We don’t rise to the level of our expectations; we fall to the level of our training.
What we practice becomes our default.
Work Backward From Who You’re Becoming
The fully alive version of you does certain things—and avoids others.
The creatively expressed you makes time to reflect and create.
The compassionate you protects their energy so it can be shared generously.
This isn’t self-control.
It’s self-mastery.
When what we know informs what we do, we live with integrity.
That is embodied wisdom.
That is energetic alignment.
And that is living your truest truth.

P.S. Embodied wisdom isn’t about doing everything right.
It’s about returning—again and again—to what you already know.
Small, devoted practices become anchors and wings.
They hold us.
They lift us.
And they bring us home.
