Bending light in our favor—or bending reality—has always felt true to me. Both expressions sing in harmony with my passions for mysticism and spirituality. Their chorus chants of intention and effort, awareness and action. Together, they become the music that gets us on our feet, dancing to the rhythm of what’s possible.
I sense we bend light through heartfelt alignment, insistence, and persistence. The image of light curving toward the benevolent outcome we seek feels like miraculous grace—love leaning into us, a divine kiss.
To call light to our side, we must hold the highest, best possible outcome tenderly in mind. Then we must meet it with devotion, diligence, and dogged persistence.
As we lean into the light of love, it leans into us.
The Power in Our Hands
Nothing moves until we do. This week, despite massive obstacles, I stayed focused and imagined the outcome my husband and I needed. Then I got to work—phone calls, emails, appointments, and pleas for the so-called impossible to become possible.
The more intensely I persisted, the brighter the horizon grew. Step by step, we followed that light with willful insistence.
Grace answers grit when faith stays on its feet.
Bending Light in Our Favor
One beat, one step forward, another beat, another step. The music played, and we moved with it—holding success joyfully in mind. Then, as if choreographed by a master, everything aligned in perfect harmony.
Reality bent to meet our faith and effort. We got the appointments we needed and rearranged our schedule. What should have cost thousands in travel changes ended up costing just $11.25. We even secured business-class seats and extra time to fulfill more goals and essentials.
This wasn’t luck. It was love meeting persistence. Grace answering grit.
We Didn’t Work Alone
We never do. Human angels—kind, capable people—heard our pleas and witnessed our persistence. They moved mountains and bent light. Illumination by deviation or divine intervention occurs when spiritual light shifts, revealing hidden solutions and new wisdom. Love leaned into us.
Lean Into Love
When the world bends in your favor, let gratitude ripple outward. Say “thank you” often. Let appreciation become action—write a card, offer a gift, praise someone’s kindness to their boss. Give more than you get.
When you can help others with their challenges, do so with your whole heart. Whenever you can, bend light in favor of others.
Every act of love—yours or another’s—is light bending itself toward grace.

P.S. May this week bring radiant confirmations that the Universe moves with you when you move with love.
Let your light bend in favor of what’s highest, kindest, and most true.
